Town of West Sweden- Monthly Meeting

December 17, 2013

Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm. Present at the meeting were Simon Nelson, Chairman; Scott Wilder and Glenn Meier, supervisor; Kevin Taylor, patrolman, Phyllis Wilder, treasurer; and Andrea Lundquist, Clerk.

The minutes of the last meeting were presented by the clerk. The town board thanked the clerk for the report.

The treasurer presented the monthly report. The town board thanked the treasurer for the report.

Public Input: None

Old Business: A. Treasurer’s appointment. Brenda Tesch and Phyllis did a mini training session to see if she would be interested in the treasurer position. Glenn made a motion to appoint Brenda for municipal treasurer, Simon 2^nd. All in Favor. Motion carried. As of the 1^st of January, Brenda Tesch, Phyllis Wilder and Simon Nelson will be signers on all bank accounts.

Employee Report: A. There is one driveway that might not be plowed anymore. The homeowner would like to have Kevin come and look at the property with the owner.

Correspondence: none to note

New Business: A. Schommer subdivision. Mark Krause presented the new court ordered plan for the subdivision. Glenn made a motion to approve the new subdivision proposed. Simon 2^nd, all in favor. Motion carried.

B. Liquor license for Jordan and Kim Pechuman for The Ridge Eatery (formerly known and Countryside). Motion to approve the license was made by Glenn. Simon 2^nd. All in Favor, motion carried.

C. Election official appointments. Scott made a motion to approve the appointments for election officials made by the clerk. Glenn 2^nd. All in favor, motion carried.

All bills paid and approved.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at 6:30pm.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Scott, seconded by Simon. Motion carried. Time was 7:05pm.
