Town of West Sweden- Monthly Meeting
April 21, 2015
Meeting was called to order by Simon Nelson at 7 pm. Members present
were Glenn Meier and Scott Wilder, supervisors; Brenda Tesch, treasurer &
Kevin Taylor, patrolman. Phyllis Wilder,
clerk was absent.
The minutes to the March meeting were presented by the treasurer in the
clerk’s absence. The board thanked the
clerk for the report.
The financial statement for
March was presented by the treasurer. The board thanked her for the report.
Public input: None
Employee report: Kevin
reported that the Salt/Sand shed passed inspection. The dump truck has a leak that would cost
about $1500 to repair. Have purchased blacktop materials from Burnett County to
patch potholes.
Old Business:
A. Driveway policy will be added to the policy manual.
New Business:
A. Set the date for the road inspection at Monday, May 4th
at 5 pm, the chairman, supervisors and patrolman will meet at the Bremer Bank
parking lot, clerk will put notice in paper.
B. The clerk has been in contact with Ed O’Meara our assessor; Tuesday,
May 19th will work for him for Board of Review. Open Book will be
from 3-5 at the Town Hall with the Board of Review from 5-7 pm. The regular
monthly meeting will follow the BOR.
Correspondence:
Polk County Towns Association meeting will be Thursday, April 23 at 7
pm at the Polk County Government Center.
2015 Town Officials workshop is being offered starting in May.
All bills approved and paid.
Next meeting will be Tuesday, May 19th, following the close
of the Board of Review.
